REGISTRATION
The Forum is an invite-only event and attendance is only possible if you received an official invitation. Invitation has been sent to your e-mail.
Please register your participation at the conference by using ‘register’ button and provide your personal details.
Once registered, you will receive an electronic confirmation. In the week before the conference, you will receive a unique QR code that you should print or save to your mobile phone.
There will be security checks at the venue’s entrances and you will not be able to access the conference halls without a badge. Participants shall pick up their badges at the Information & Accreditation Desk in Hotel Rikli Balance (former Hotel Golf) prior to attending the conference.
Information & Accreditation Desk will be open as follows:
- Sunday, 9 September 2018, from 9:00 to 20:00
- Monday, 10 September 2018, from 9:00 to 20:00
- Tuesday, 11 September 2018, from 8:00 to 18:00.
CONFERENCE VENUE
Opening Ceremony and the opening discussions take place in the Festival Hall. Live video stream will be provided in the Festival Hall lobby and in the Streaming Room on the 1st floor.
Networking Reception and the Night Owl Session will be held at Grand Hotel Toplice, Cesta svobode 12, Bled.
The event on the 11 September (BSF panels, Business BSF and side events) take place in Hotel Rikli Balance (fomer Hotel Golf).
Young BSF takes place in Ljubljana.
WORKING LANGUAGE
The official language of the conference will be English.
ACCOMMODATION
BSF Secretariat only provides accommodation for the high-level participants, panellists and moderators.
We kindly invite you to book your accommodation in one of the hotels in Bled. Due to limited hotel capacity, we advise you to book no later than 10 August 2018.

TRANSPORT
Arriving by airplane
A shuttle service will be organised for BSF participants between Ljubljana Airport and Bled. Other guests might accompany you in the shuttle.
Arrival
Shuttle will depart from Ljubljana airport parking lot and drop you in front of the Hotel Savica. Please note there will be a Bled Strategic Forum information desk set up at the airport arrivals hall with our staff, who will gladly answer any questions you might have and escort you to the shuttle.
Shuttle will run according to the following schedule:
Sunday (9.9.) – From 6:00 to 23:00, every half an hour
Monday (10.9.) – From 6:00 to 23:00, every half an hour
Departure
Departure shuttle will depart from Hotel Savica and drop you at the airport parking lot. We advise you to depart at least two hours prior to your flight. Should you need any further information regarding departures, our staff will be glad to help you at the Information & Accreditation Desk in Hotel Rikli Balance.
Shuttle will run according to the following schedule:
Tuesday (11.9.) – From 5:00 to 21:30, every half an hour
Wednesday (12.9.) – From 5:00 to 17:00, every half an hour
Detailed information regarding transport will also be available at the Information & Accreditation Desk in the Hotel Rikli Balance lobby.
Arriving by automobile
A vignette is required on Slovenian motorways and highways (it can be obtained at any petrol station or highway rest area).

There are several public parking areas around Bled, you can look for them on this interactive map.
GUIDED TOUR OF BLED
In cooperation with Bled Tourist Board we invite you to join a guided tour of Bled and its surroundings on Monday, 10 September, from 10.00 to 12.00. Registration is mandatory prior to the tour via email or at the Information Desk.
The departure point will be from Hotel Rikli Balance (former Hotel Golf), Cankarjeva 4, Bled at 10.00.
VISA REQUIREMENTS
Visa requirements should be met prior to arrival to Slovenia. To obtain visas on time, we recommend applying for them as soon as possible, but no later than 10 August 2018.
Participants requiring entry visas should submit a copy of their registration form and the invitation to the conference to the nearest diplomatic mission of the Republic of Slovenia or to a diplomatic mission of a Schengen state representing Slovenia in visa matters. Further information is available at the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia. Participants with a valid Schengen visa, a resident permit or a long-term visa of any Schengen state do not require an additional visa to enter Slovenia. Participants are requested to indicate this on the registration form.

RESERVATION OF ROOMS FOR BILATERAL MEETINGS
Rooms for bilateral meetings will be located in Hotel Rikli Balance, Hotel Park and Hotel Kompas. Reservation of the room for bilateral meeting can be arranged with Ms Lara Zalokar .
