Samuel Žbogar has been European Union’s ambassador in Skopje since 2016. His previous positions include the EU special representative for Kosovo and head of the EU Office in Pristina, minister of foreign affairs of Slovenia, Slovenian ambassador to the United States and deputy permanent representative of Slovenia to the United Nations in New York.
