Dan Damon has presented the daily World Update programme on the BBC World Service since 2003, with global news and analysis. During the 1990s, with his camerawoman wife Siân, Dan covered the collapse of Communism in Eastern Europe, the Yugoslav wars and conflicts in the Middle East and Asia. Recently, he helped set up the new BBC Korean language service.
