Aleksandra Pivec PhD, started her career as a professional research assistant at the Faculty and Scientific Research Centre Bistra Ptuj, where she was involved in the design and management of regional development planning and project implementation for the area of the statistical region and the implementation of research and application projects concerning the local economy. In September 2016, she joined the Office of the Republic of Slovenia for Slovenians Abroad, and currently holds the position of state secretary.
